SUNDAY MORNING CANTOR:  We are most grateful to Marianne Leidy who has been faithful in her ministry of Cantor on Sunday morning. 
We are in desperate need of someone to take her place.  Please pray for someone who will be willing to share their musical talents.

FOOD DRIVE:  The Ladies Guild would like to thank everyone for your generous giving to our food drive. Every month has been better an dbetter. 
For June, we are collecting canned fruit. The last weekend of the month will be the last weekend to bring your items. Thank so much!

CCD:  Our CCD year once again comes to a close. It has been a very good year for our children. They have grown in their knowledge and love of the Lord.
 We now look forward to the new year to come which will begin in 12 short weeks on August 13th. We are in need of teachers for the following classes: 
Preschool, K-1st, 2nd, 6th, and high school. These children are the future of our church and they need you. If you can help us, please call

CCD REGISTRATION:  Registration for the 2008-2009 CCD school year will be held at the weekend Masses of June 7th & 8th, June 14th & 15th, June 21st & 22nd,
 and June 28th and June 29th. You must fill out a new form each year so we can update our records. We must have an accurate count of students to be able to
 order textbooks by July 10th. Thank you for your cooperation.
 

LADIES LUNCH BUNCH  ON JUNE 19 @ 11:30 AM.  We will meet at the Cornerstone Restaurant. Reserve your spot, call Robbie before June 16 so reservations can be made.  706-779-2342.

 

Sacred Heart Catholic Church is seeking artists and craftsmen for their art and crafts show in November. Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1009 Benson Street, Hartwell announces its first Arts and Crafts show to be

 held on Saturday, November 15 from 9AM to 3PM in the hall at the church. The church is seeking artists and craftsmen who wish to display and sell their wares at rented tables. Tables are available for $25 each for the show.

LIVING FAITH DAILY DEVOTIONALS:  Those who have ordered the daily devotionals may pick up their copies in the narthex.  Because of increased costs, 
the price of the annual subscription has gone up 15 cents to $4.05.  Envelopes will be provided for your payment.  If writing a check, please make it

The banns of marriage are published for the first time between Catherine Anne Gearhart of St. Mary’s Parish, Toccoa, and Timothy John Lees of
 St. Mary 
of the Falls Parish in Wappinger Falls, NY. Please remember them in your prayers as they prepare for the Sacrament of Matrimony.

WHAT:  AN EVENING OF CRAFTS &/or GAMES etc.

WHEN:  TUESDAY, JUNE 17th @ 6:00 pm

WHERE: ST. MARY'S SOCIAL HALL

Our evening will begin with Nancy Shurtz teaching us how to crochet dish towel toppers to use as hand towels in the kitchen.  At 7:00 we will break for social time & snacks.  After that we will begin playing cards, games,

doing puzzles, book discussion, whatever suits your fancy.  You are welcome to join us for any or all of the above.  However, if you wish to do the craft(cost of materials approx. $4.00), you need to call for a list of materials needed.
