SOCIAL HALL
Needing to use the Social Hall for a meeting or event? Please call Deanna Holmer at 706-297-7493 to check on availability/guidelines for using the Hall.

ADORATION: Starting Friday July 6th there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 1:00 PM. This will be held every Friday at this time.

 

RCIA: Are you looking for a way to serve others or 
deepen your own spiritual life?  We are in need of 
volunteers to serve as sponsors for our candidates 
in RCIA.  If you are interested in helping others 
on their journey to Christ, please contact

LADIES LUNCHEON - Thursday, October 18 - 11:30 at
 the Java Station on Big ARoad.  Their new chef has 
promised an interesting and delicious menu.

FALL FESTIVAL:

Fall has arrived in the North Georgia Mountains just in time for St. Mary's Annual Fall Festival on Saturday Oct. 20th from 8am - 2pm.

Exciting activities for all ages:

SHOPPING: treasure hunting, bake sale, book sale, craft sale and themed baskets EATERY: Breakfast and lunch items served CHILDREN'S FUN: Pumpkin Patch, face painting, inflatables, cupcake walk Plan now to spend the day and enjoy yourselves!

 

FALL FESTIVAL YARD SALE
We will be accepting your saleable, good condition 
items for the yard sale before and after masses on 
this weekend and next weekend October 12 and 13.
Please drop items off at the Parish Hall.  As far
 as clothing is concerned, only children's clothing
 will be accepted.  Questions?

the sale, please let me know.
 
Drop off times for yard sale items:  
Tuesday afternoon - 1 to 3; Thursday 4 to 7;
 Friday - 10 to 4pm.  If no one is there to 
receive your items, leave them by the parish 
hall door.  Someone will be checking periodically
 to
Pull things in.  Thank you!
 
BAKE SALE – The Fall Festival is rapidly 
approaching and we hope that the ladies of 
St. Mary’s will once again be as generous as 
they have been in the past. We look forward to a 
variety of cakes, pies, muffins, cobblers, cookies,
 etc. You may bring them Friday or Saturday morning. Questions??

FALL FESTIVAL NEEDS: 
 
ATTENTION CRAFTERS!! Are you a Crafter or do you 
know a Crafter. The Fall Festival will be held here
 at St. Mary's on Saturday, October 20 from 8:00
 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We are looking for Crafters to 
rent a space and sell their non-food items. Base
 registration is $20.00 due by October 1. There 
is a $5.00 additional charge if electricity is 
required. Crafters are to provide their own tables.

CHAIRPERSONS NEEDED: We still need a volunteer to
 handle the Books/Religious Articles table for 
the Fall Festival. If you would be willing to be 
a Chairperson for either of these, please contact
 Jessica Burger at (706) 356-5975. Your help would
 be greatly appreciated.
 

WIND CHIME UPGRADE

If you bought one of my chimes with the cotton string at the Spring Yard Sale, bring it to the Fall Fair. I'll take it home and re-string it with a tougher line I now use. Please attach some ID to your chime. I'll get them back to you A.S.A.P. -Jim Green (706) 886-1345
