SOCIAL HALL Needing to use the Social Hall for a meeting or event? Please call Deanna Holmer at 706-297-7493 to check on availability/guidelines for using the Hall.

VISITATION MINISTRY:  We are visiting parishoners (by invitation only) who are unable to attend Mass on a regular basis. If you have a 
family member or friend who ois in need for a vistor  who would like for us to bring the Eucharist, please call  ROBBIE FRANZMATHES 706-779-2342.
 
SUNDAY MORNING CANTOR:  We are most grateful to Marianne Leidy who has been faithful in her ministry of Cantor on Sunday morning.  
Unfortunately, Marianne is leaving May 24th.  We are in desperate need of someone to take her place.  Please pray for someone who 
will be willing to share their musical talents. Contact Steve Dessauer or Carolyn Collins for further information.
 
FOOD DRIVE:  The Ladies Guild would like to thank everyone for your generous giving to our food drive. Every month has been better 
an dbetter. For June, we are collecting canned fruit. The last weekend of the month will be the last weekend to bring your items. Thank so much!

WHAT:  AN EVENING OF CRAFTS &/or GAMES etc.

WHEN:  TUESDAY, JUNE 17th @ 6:00 pm

WHERE: ST. MARY'S SOCIAL HALL

Our evening will begin with Nancy Shurtz teaching us how to crochet dish towel toppers to use as hand towels in the kitchen.  At 7:00 we will break for social time & snacks.  After that we will

begin playing cards, games, doing puzzles, book discussion, whatever suits your fancy.  You are welcome to join us for any or all of the above.  However, if you wish to do the craft(cost of materials

approx. $4.00), you need to call for a list of materials needed.  Please call Sharon Argento 706-282-7760 for more info, materials list, or suggestions for future projects.  Snacks will be provided,

please bring your own drink.

 

PARISH DIRECTORY:  Thanks to all who took the time to make corrections of addresses, telephone numbers, etc.  Updated information is
 now available on the table in the narthex.  Please take one copy per family.
 
CCD:  Our CCD year once again comes to a close. It has been a very good year for our children. They have grown in their knowledge and 
love of the Lord. We now look forward to the new year to come which will begin in 12 short weeks on August 13th. We are in need of 
teachers for the following classes: Preschool, K-1st, 2nd, 6th, and high school. These children are the future of our church and they
 need you. If you can help us, please call Sally Studley at 864-647-9880. Thanks.
 
CCD REGISTRATION:  Registration for the 2008-2009 CCD school year will be held at the weekend Masses of June 3rd & 4th, June 10th & 11th,
 June 17th & 18th, June 24th & 25th, and June 30th and July 1st. You must fill out a new form each year so we can update our records.
 We must have an accurate count of students to be able to order textbooks by July 10th. Thank you for your cooperation.
