VISITATION MINISTRY:  We are visiting parishoners (by invitation only) who are unable to attend Mass on a regular basis. If you have 
a family member or  friend who ois in need for a vistor  who would like for us to bring the Eucharist,

SUNDAY MORNING CANTOR:  We are most grateful to Marianne Leidy who has been faithful in her ministry of Cantor on Sunday morning.  
Unfortunately, Marianne is leaving May 24th.  We are in desperate need of someone to take her place.  Please pray for someone who will be 
willing to share their musical talents. Contact Steve Dessauer or Carolyn Collins for further information.
 
FOOD DRIVE:  The Ladies Guild would like to thank everyone for your generous giving to our food drive. Every month has been better an 
dbetter. This month, the weekend of April 26-27, we are asking for canned vegetables. Thanks!

 

NEW PARISH DIRECTORY: The new directories are available in the narthex. Please take one per family. When you pick up your directory 
please check your information on the directory copies displayed on the table. Make necessary corrections. If your information is correct 
please put a check by your name. We will publish a list of corrections in a few weeks.
 
BIRTHDAY WISHES: Helen Callahan, former parishioner & mother of Tony Argento will be celebrating her 90th birthday on May 13th.  
We are asking that she be remembered with cards sent to her at 21800 Hinkley Rd. Barstow, Ca. 92311. If you have a picture of yourself

BOOK GROUP: Is there any interest in the parish in forming a book discussion group?  How about a monthly how to craft night? (crocheting,

LOST AND FOUND:    Are you missing a casserole, or children's books, or glasses?  Please check the lost and found basket in the narthex.

The May meeting of the Ladies Guild will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. We are having a pot luck luncheon, 
so get out your favorite recipes, bring your dish to pass and please join us! We look forward to seeing all the ladies at Noon on May 14.

 

 

 

 

Father Patrick McCormick, a former priest of our parish, and an active Navy chaplain has recently been stationed in Afghanistan for the next year.
